General Summary:

We are seeking a summer intern to support the Industrial design team in the development of next-generation products in the Telecom Infrastructure. T

The intern will:

  1. Define the industrial design of new products. Work with company stakeholders, including industrial design creative direction, interaction design, product management, and downstream marketing to strategically support industrial design across product platforms.

  2. Bring new industrial design concepts to life through sketching, 3D modeling, material explorations, and full scale mockups. Work with product development and engineering stakeholders to bring these design visions to reality.

  3. Create a final project report and present it to stake holders and senior executives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing design and find areas on how ergonomics and user installation can be simplified

  • Create a design strategy for integration of additional modules to Base Station Antennas

Skills Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (other comparable software also acceptable)

  • Excellent sketching skills and 3D modeling experience using Solidworks. Prefer experience with Rhino 4.0.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft word.

  • Understanding of the manufacturing process, specifically tailored to understand part mold ability and material selection.

  • Self-motivated to complete all task required of the job and high attention to detail

  • Passion showing an appreciation for strong aesthetics.

  • This is an intern position so we expect the candidate to be a junior, senior or graduate student working toward a BS or MS in Industrial Design.
