Role Description:

As the North America Vice President Sales you will have overall responsibility for revenue, margin and profit of CommScope’s North American Enterprise Sales Organization. As a senior member of the Enterprise Sales leadership team, you will have direct line responsibility for approximately 140 colleagues across the US & Canada. In an ever-changing market you will be required to balance strategy with tactical activities, whilst nurturing innovation, ingenuity and connectivity, servicing our customer base and growing CommScope’s market share, revenue and year over year profitability. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the business units and other functions create and execute strategies to grow Enterprise market share year over year

  • Support the development of sales competencies in consultative and value add selling, as well as key account management to successfully sell CommScope’s portfolio winning together

  • Collaborate with the CommScope business units to provide expanded solutions, leveraging customer relationships and market knowledge

  • Be part of the solution by providing clear and concise voice of the customer feedback to the organization to support continuous improvement activities and opportunities for new product development, marketing and operations

  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, marketing etc. in the S&OP process and strive to continually improve the process to deliver a robust forecast

  • Develop customer specific programs to maintain and increase market share

  • Through leadership and coaching, build a cohesive and connected team of highly productive commercially focused colleagues who win together to deliver revenue and profitability targets

  • Support sales process improvement towards ensuring an efficient sales model

  • Promote commercial excellence in field by travelling with the team, visiting customers and key partners

  • Consistently monitor performance using CommScope’s metrics and championing success in others

  • Champion engagement and build both organization and people competencies, develop future leaders and increase bench strength with diverse talent.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:

  • Extensive Sales experience and proven experience of leading an organization within a changing market and market position

  • Comprehensive leadership experience of managing substantial teams remotely and across regions

  • Individual must have the capability to build competence, be stretch oriented, embrace and thrive on challenge in a changing environment

  • An analytical mindset and demonstrated understanding of how to collect critical data

  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships and instill drive

  • Mentor and lead change across stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated Continuous Improvement Champion

  • Sense of urgency to effectively multi task and meet deadlines
