The Corporate Ethics and Compliance Intern will enhance the effectiveness of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance team by assisting with, and potentially leading, a wide variety of projects, working in multiple technology platforms and cross functional groups.
Our Intern will become familiar with the inner workings of a fast-paced corporate environment, learn about corporate ethics and compliance programs, and hone skills relating to strategic planning, management systems, and systematic project management.
The CommScope’s Corporate Ethics and Compliance Team is a dynamic, global group focused on fostering a workplace where honesty, transparency, fairness and respect are valued and practiced consistently, and driving a culture of ethics, responsibility, sustainability and compliance throughout the company. The team is part of CommScope’s legal department.
The company’s Ethics and Compliance program includes the following areas: corporate responsibility and sustainability; labor and employment law; anti-corruption, anti-fraud, and conflicts of interest; environment, health & safety; environmental product compliance; trade compliance; privacy; antitrust and competition law; records retention; business continuity, including physical security and crisis management; internal investigations; ethics and compliance training and communications.
The intern will be exposed to the overall program management, and will have opportunities to work with professionals and projects in many of these different areas.
